A film by Dylan Werkman
The Netherlands 2025

Dealing with images of climate disasters far from home and reclaiming the impact of these images so that they trigger awareness and action. An investigation into the emotional connection between the Western audience and those affected by the climate crisis on the island of Tuvalu.

IMAGES FROM TUVALU is part of a documentary series on the Ten Commandments, produced by DOXY Films and EOdocs, in which ten filmmakers each give their take on one of the Commandments. Dylan Werkman ventured into the second commandment: ‘Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image.’
